    Doosan Infracore is the oldest but fastest company with 117 years of history

    Doosan Infracore started producing diesel engines since 1985 in Incheon. S.Korea . It entered into production under license of MAN technology in 1975 and ISUZU technology in 1979 . nearly 600 employees  are dedicated at the engine manufacturing facility in addition to two foundry shops producing cast components and engine R&D facility . The  engines produced are categorized mainly into four group:: Commercial Vehicle engine , industrial engine, marine engine and genset.

    About 64,000 units of various applications are produced annually, out of which the generator set engines line up ranges from 29 upto 612kW Output (ISO 3046/8528) BASED ON 1500RPM – standby. Doosan have steadily expanded its business on foundation of accumulated technology & know how, continued investment in R&D, and abundant experience of developing over 1200 different applications for various equipment.
    A Doosan power plant can be operated by the same type of two-stroke diesel engines that drive massive oceangoing vessels. The facility can have an output capacity ranging from 25 to 200MW and is usually used on islands and other remote areas.

    Doosan Engine installed, on a turnkey basis, a 40MW power plant with a low-speed diesel engine to serve the south side of Jeju Island (Korea) in 1990. An 80MW plant was completed on Guam in 1993, followed by projects in Papua New Guinea, India, and Eritrea. The technology, reliability, and experience garnered from this track record have provided us with a leading position in the world diesel power  generation market.
